It Takes Leadership

Leadership.pngIt takes leadership to work with those you may not agree with 100% of the time. It takes leadership to uphold the rules of our Republican Party and to treat everyone in our party fairly. It takes leadership to reach those who have never been involved in the Republican Party while at the same time bringing back those who have been disenfranchised.

If elected as your next State Party Chairman, I will provide that leadership that our Party so desperately needs. I am running for this position, not against any one person, because I believe my past experiences have provided me with the knowledge and the drive to make our Republican Party a leading force in politics nationally.

Washington_County_Republican_Party.pngI have traveled many miles and spent many hours these past several months talking with Republican grassroots leaders listening to their concerns regarding our State Party and the direction it should be going. The two largest concerns I hear are that we should be following the rules of our Party and that we need to bring young people and minorities into the fold. I am happy to say that those are my goals if you choose to support me this Saturday. When I debated and helped to defeat SB233, I did so because the bill was pushed through on behalf of the OKGOP without the acknowledgment or consent of the OKGOP. When we all follow the rules that we enacted as a Party at conventions passed, we will not have occasions such as SB233. The reason we have rules, the reason why we must start using Roberts Rules of Order and start conducting business meetings properly, is so that every voice in our party has equal representation.

Reaching out to minorities and young people is vital if we are to remain the dominant party in Oklahoma. We must be willing to go where they are and meet with them on their terms. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Snap Chat, these are all tools that we can use as a party to reach people who probably have never stepped foot in a GOP meeting before. With the right leadership and direction, we can grow our party beyond the realm of what is thought to be possible.

I hope you will join me Saturday at the State Convention. I would be honored to have your vote tomorrow and your support the next two years as your Oklahoma Republican Party Chairman.

State Senator Bill Brown - Randy Brogdon is an honest and trustworthy advocate of liberty and I support Randy 100% to be our next Oklahoma Republican Chairman. Randy is the type of person who can work with anyone and that is the type of leader we need to expand and unite our party. I hope you will join me on April 11th in casting your vote for Randy Brogdon for State OKGOP Chairman.
